"As part of CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 video event today, we learned all about the 1.5 update, a major addition to the game that came alongside bespoke versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is also a new, five-hour free trial for Cyberpunk 2077 that players can check out to get a taste of the new 1.5 update. Progress from the free trial will carry forward to the full game. If you held off on purchasing it at launch, this is the perfect change to see what it has to offer.

It still has a fun story with several interesting characters. But still not sure any reason to go back to it or treat it as anything more than a linear rpg/story.

I haven't played yet, but based on everything I read, the PS5 and X Series versions that just dropped play extremely well.

The question is the game itself. It seems most liked it but didn't find it as groundbreaking as hyped up to be.

If you haven't played it yet, then yes, I'd say right now is a good time to play the PS5 or XSX versions. They definitely improved a lot.

If you already spent a lot of hours on the game and beat it back when it came out, I don't think it's worth revisiting just yet.

I played on Series S and never really had many glitches. With that being said I never finished the game because the story isnt that good and side missions were beyond repetitive.

My disc drive stopped working on my series X. I wanted to give it another shot

Still a shallow half-assed game. Yes, it runs better, but the game is broken at its core. Open world games in 2008 did this game better.
