It's also a good idea to apologize instead of deflecting the blame by blaming the victim of the personal attacks. But to each their own.

Obviously you can't find a topic Cyric is in by searching it up, but you've definitely developed a pattern of behavior where you know Cyric is gonna be in here, and you claimed earlier you don't care about the actual topic...so that really only leaves one reason to come in here in the first place. And no, I don't care about the topic of Dave Chappelle and transgender individuals too much, I do like his comedy and was fine with him getting more specials though. I thought it was gonna be pretty funny regardless, as every topic with his name results in arguments. And I was correct.

That requires having a conscience, something Cyric doesnt have. You cant feel guilty of making someone go into a dark place mentally if you dont feel.

I remember someone saying Cyric got really weird towards a female user who was having a wedding too, so maybe it's best that you don't.

It sure is a shame that people that fucking hate the trans community have turned Chapelle into a folk hero.

I thought comedians told jokes that were meaningless and not serious, but they sure seem to mean something when they agree with a bigot's serious worldview.

Nah it's been very clear from the beginning that I hit the nail on the head because you can't make a rebuttal without having to make the saddest attempts at cheap shots or trying to deflect from the criticism being levied at you. I mean shit, that started earlier when you were more interested in talking about Rebel's banned accounts than what he actually posted.

You've already admitted to coming into these topics to stir shit, despite not actually caring about the topic, so this will probably be my last post on this particular line of discussion. I'll just let others come to their own conclusions based on that

How am I supposed to have a rebuttal to 'you're obsessed' exactly? No, I'm not. That's all I can say, really. You're just resorting to ye ol playbook of 'let me say some baseless claims without proof'. I can't prove I'm not obsessed, so good job if your objective is trying to force a claim on me and see if it sticks, but it's a baseless one so I can't do shit about it other than deny it.

That, by definition, is a cheap shot.

As for coming in to stir shit, I don't have to. These topics are goldmines for arguments.

I like Dave Chappelle. I do care about that. I know these topics create arguments.

The Rebel post, admittedly, was entirely off topic and more or less just me writing something that came to mind because I saw a name I didn't associate with 'em. Wasn't meant to be offensive or anything, just random and off-topic.

Like I said earlier in this topic, if my contribution to this particular topic seems a little thin, it's because we already had this discussion months ago. We've had this discussion and we laid things out and people didn't accept it.

I'm pretty firm in my support of the trans people who say they're hurting. I believe them. That's my priority here.

I see people make snide commentary or insinuations of these trans people and I would like them to be held to account. I want them to follow through on what they're saying and say all of it. I would rather they didn't just get away with their commentary without being challenged.

For context, Cyric did everything the same in this topic that he did in those other topics. Which is:

-ask random loaded questions
-tell people the answer to those questions was irrelevant
-make snide comments
-ignore most of someone's post that he is arguing with, then quote one small bit of text and use that as a smoking gun
-imply people are awful, without ever saying it

So, basically, he contributes nothing while pretending he contributes something.

Unless you force him to bring personal situations in that he can use against you, then he contributes awful, awful stuff.

I'll be checking for this next special though. Still a legend, but I think the only shit that I remember from the last special was "that ain't blood, that's beet juice!"

I thought it was weird that he made his trans friend the topic of it too. I get that they were tight like that and he had the family's blessing or something, but it felt off for him to put it out there as a follow-up to the backlash.
