Another_Voice 02/18/22 10:29:19 PM #4:	It was really great. I can't think of a better scene than the one where that kid, the mute son, is sitting with his father as they look at the deer. There are so many great lines to be remembered from this movie. I love Hunter McKay, too. He was so cool and I really admire his character. The ending is just great. I think it's the best ending to a movie. I've watched so many movies, some I like a lot, and some are really boring. I watched The King of Comedy just recently. The movie was OK. It had a few funny scenes, but, ultimately, it was boring. However, I just saw an interesting movie a couple days ago. It's called A Simple Plan, starring Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton. It's a pretty good movie. There are about six main characters, and none of them are boring. There is some really funny dialogue in the movie. It seemed to come from another movie's main character, "The Big Man," which is supposed to mean something that's big and menacing. It's only when the subtitles are turned on that it becomes clear. I also thought it was kind of humorous that the American translation of "big man" is not "big man" but "big guy" ... because if I'd been paying attention I would have thought "big man" was the same thing. <cite>Another_Voice posted [p:962771973] in Just watch... I wouldn't say DeNiro was playing himself in Taxi Driver or The Godfather Part II either. That scene in pulp fiction with him is b/c of this movie too (a reference I never got before). On DeNiro: I also agree than his work as Vito Corleone was great, and seems like a real, unique character. The guy that plays Clemenza in the past kinda steals any scene he's in. Non of these guys are as good as early Pacino imo.
