So on RAW Austin Theory cashed in on Seth Rollins... Who is the United States champion... Who was already issuing an open challenge for the belt... And who just got beat down by Lashley prior to the cash in... Only to also get beat down by Lashley and then lose the match.

Possible there'll be some excuse to give the MITB case back to him within the next week or two like they did with Bryan in 2011 like it didn't count but... WOW.

It's no secret that Austin Theory may arguably be the star most effected by Vince's departure. Dude's won a whopping TWO matches since winning the briefcase, against Dolph Ziggler and Shelton Benjamin.

Nah there's no way Theorys getting his briefcase back, he lost that shit lol. I predicted him losing his cash-in attempt after HHH took over creative because quite simply, he was just leftover stuff from Vince's sandbox and its not a part of Trips' vision. I don't think it's as malicious as some of the IWC seem to think, I've straight up seen people say its because HHH hates Theory irl
How we got there was messy though. I *think* the logic is that the Open Challenge wasn't going to be a thing anymore so if Theory hadn't of cashed-in there would have been no match.
I still think they did Otis far, far more dirty tho. Even Corbins failure stung more than Theory's loss. And now we know in kayfabe that the briefcase doesn't explicitly have to be for a world title.

I think it has always had "title of their choosing" as the wording. The letter of the law vs. spirit of the law sort of thing. They just never ran into a situation like this where someone had such an iron grip as THE world champion, MITB never felt so arbitrary and pointless.

While it doesn't excuse treated Theory like a scrublord, it is a thing they could always do. The secondary titles were just never the "semi-main event" championships this rare situation afforded them. I will say I imagine HHH's aim is, "Roman, Seth, Lashley, Lesnar, Wyatt, name 10-15 other guys are in their mid-late 30s/40s. By the time they age out, Theory won't even be mid-30s. Let him recharge his character, rather than force feed "The Next Orton/Cena" like Vince" had him being RIGHT now."

Again, I'm not saying Theory should be beaten into the ground like he has been. But Vince was doing the exact opposite, and going too fucking fast. It could have backfired either way.

Irrelevant. Rusev sold a stunner like a MF champ back in 2016 and his only World title match on ppv (Extreme Rules 2018) played second fiddle to a Rollins/Ziggler match.

Just popping into this topic to say that Theory sucks and so did his stupid Stunner bump.

The stunner bump basically got completely removed anyway by Vinces bump

Know what struck me as one of the coolest reveals for the fifth member of Bianca's team?

It didn't have to be Becky.

All three horsewomen that aren't Bayley could've been legit surprises that would've popped the crowd. Naomi could've been a surprise and popped the crowd. Ronda Rousey somehow could've been the fifth and been a big surprise pop. One of the most out-there choices could've somehow been IWGP's women's champion Kairi Sane and it wouldve made sense on Bianca's team somehow.

The best choice is Becky, but the fact that there's a solid amount of viable and surprising options as the fifth is absolutely cool and speaks to the strength of the options and people WWE has built and the Survivor Series build.

Just glad it wasn't Charlotte, who at one point was the Poochie of the Women's division. If Charlotte doesn't return and win a title within the next 36 days, then 2022 will mark the first year since 2013 where she didn't win a championship

but I just want to say that I've been bitten by the NXT bug, and I like it!! probably two or so years ago I started watch NXT from the very beginning, and recently went to go back to where I stopped, only to have found it being a muddled mess of episodes. I would've thought by now Peacock had enough time and space to put episodes and ppv's in the right order, unless they did and i'm missing something somewhere?

but anyway, i'm almost finished watching Deadl1ne, and might've watched the last one or two events prior, and I find it more engaging to watch over the current Main Roster stuff (which to me, has gotten staler than moldy bread), and AEW (don't really watch either show, just clips of stuff on FB video) and I hate to say this, but it seems a bit boring. love the idea and display of the Iron Survivor, and would love to say more of it!! but I was thinking of watching the NXT Take Over events from when it started to wherever we're at currently. so what say you all? also feel free to add any other shows that would be good to watch!!

Yep! I think she held the NXT Womens title for over a year then suddenly yesterday she dropped the title to Roxanne Perez and today the announcement of her release. Turns out it's related to her OnlyFans content. It got leaked online and some of it (according to reddit comments) is basically nudes or straight up foreplay/sex. WWE must've found that out, didn't want someone on their shows (especially one that s champion) that recently did online porn in some form, and cut her loose.

That's on her for taking the risk, going that route and not thinking a company that produces content that children watch wouldn't respond, especially in this age of social media. She apparently makes good money on there, anyway, so she should be fine.

If this were 2000, Vince would've had Mandy back on the main roster for a Roman-like run as Women's champion >_>
