It's on gamepass, it looks like something I'd enjoy because I'm a sucker for games like Diablo II.

The reviews weren't very convincing especially since one said the level cap is 16.

Anyone play it and would recommend it?

If it's on game pass, and you have game pass, download it and try it.

It is fantastic, if you like the isometric games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale etc.

It has a great story/lore/world building but the combat can take a bit of getting used to for new comers but is great fun coming up with strategies once you know what you're doing.

Isn't really much like Diablo though, aside the isometric look.

16 is the cap, yeah. But it's not really an issue as get plenty strong by the end unless you build poorly.

You have NPC's, or can make your own party members, but do miss out on a lot of the banter/quests that come with them.

Levelling up is a lot bigger of a deal in PoE than for a lot of games.

Also it's more like a CRPG than Diablo.

It's fantastic, the second improved on a lot.

Its more like baulder's gate. It is less action slash dungeon looter and more like rpg, control a party and have an active strategic battle system.

It's great if you play it on PC. It's a loading simulator on consoles

It's okay, but the game is kinda bullshit in that you just randomly die in endgame fights
