Las Vegas shows used to be the best deals in the country. Now they will cost you hundreds of dollars. Thanks to record high inflation, everyone is using that as a reason to jack up their prices even more. 2. Fees/Nickel and Diming for Everything: Tons of hidden and unexpected fees for everything. Ordering a meal? Pay a concession fee on top of your bill. Want to park at the hotel you're staying at? Get ready to pay for that privilege. Then there's the actual resort fee for staying at the hotel, which is sometimes even more expensive than the room itself. Instead of lowering fees or getting rid of them, many hotels are actually raising fees. 3. Crappy Customer Service: Businesses are understaffed. Even if you have a reservation at a restaurant, you might wait 30 minutes to get seated and then wait another 30 minutes before a server actually takes your order. Even the airport is understaffed now. 4. Crime: Although Vegas has always had crime, it's actually getting worse to the point that tourists are noticing. Violent crime is especially going up. It's no longer just off the strip. 5.
