You see Ross drop the dog off with the staff, having already placed a muzzle on their mouth, and then leave. The workers then take them to the back and lift them onto a table.That's where things get wild ... it appears the employees put 2 different harnesses around their neck -- one from the top and one from the bottom -- seemingly to keep the dog in place while they try to work on their paws.
The dog thrases around. Soon enough, the dog goes limp and the workers try waking them up, to no avail. Ross says when she returned a mere 10 minutes later, she discovered her dog was dead -- and she believes the way the PetSmart employees harnessed Kobe during the nail clipping caused the dog to lose consciousness and die.

While on a lesser scale, this reminds me of that story about the guy who took his samoyed there simply to get a bath. Just a bath, they ended up shaving the dog's unique coat down really short and causing her serious stress and body temperature issues.

This isn't the only incident. That dog is her world, and she brings it to PetSmart. I understand taking a car to JiffyLube, but this is a living dog.

But yeah, I don't get how tf those employees came to that method of harnessing.

I remember clipping my childrens nails when they were babies. holy crap was that hard since they were so tiny. If I managed that, she could clip her dogs nails.

She should be able to pay for animals to be groomed with expectations that the groomer wont murder them by hanging.
