Kiriko's teleport can cause her to fall through the floor into the void and die. Healing feels like it doesn't do a fucking thing. Tanking is actually worse than it was before. While CC was annoying, it was vital to the design of the game. Now the only CCs that really do anything at all are Ana's sleep dart and Orisa's new javelin. Orisa can't fucking die, and has pretty much no cooldown on her OP abilities. The sound system is fucking broken. Gunshots are way too loud. Sometimes. And sometimes guns don't make a fucking sound at all. Sometimes ult voicelines just don't play at all. I got killed by a BOB today because I literally could not hear Ashe's voiceline, and the death replay showed the same thing, she didn't say anything at all. Just all of a sudden there's a BOB right behind me shooting me. Footprints are either non-existant or they emanate from the fucking ether and you'll hear them all around you even when nobody is there. And the UI. The menus are ugly as shit and now navigating them feels random. Why are health bars circles now, it was so much easier to read the straight bars. When getting healed why are there a billion plus signs all over the screen. Visual clutter much? Why are the menu buttons misaligned. Why are the edges of the buttons pixely. Why does the competitive screen look like that. Why is the end game screen misaligned. Why are there a billion particle effects when firing a gun. Why does this game feel like it was made by unpaid interns. And don't even get me started on the monetization. Some skins that were free to obtain last week now cost $20. Some skins are just fucking gone with no explanation. It was unmatched. Also I'm not surprised to hear tanking and healing suck now. There's a problem with listening to the community on game balance -"Balance" inevitably leads to homogenization, with unique builds being made more similar to the default. We first saw this with the split into "tank/support/damage". There was a time early on in the game during pubs where any tank other than Reinhardt wasn't taken seriously, and half the unique damage classes were shit on. -Listening to opinions on balance leads to taking a hammer to things that "feel" bad rather than things which are actually bad for the game. It feels bad to get stunned by McCree (idk his new name) or to have Mercy revive people, but it leads to faster paced more dynamic gameplay.
