Like there is no "correct" answer. There are idiomatic ways of solving problems, and those could be considered correct.
And I have ways I consider idiomatic, but I don't know if my ways are the real idiomatic way that the language should be written or the algorithm performed.
Also as of late I've transitioned to a more Software Lead role, which is requiring me to do a lot of architecture / design work and providing input to multiple people below me as well as multiple managerial stakeholders above me.
It's starting to put a pretty heavy drain on me as I have only hopes and prayers that I'm doing things correctly. If I fail nobody's there to catch me.

I ignore spammers or people who I feel aren't constructively posting. Right now that's Lokarin and Helly.

So what counts as constructive posting on a dead website that has an even more dead social message board with no topicality on it?

my job is the same way. Its up to me how i get things done as long as they get done. I dont like the ambiguity. I would prefer more structure. Its very bureaucratic and its a very thankless job (the thankless part i dont really mind, the pay is enough for me to not care) but it can be VERY frustrating when i ask for help/guidance and i get 5 different and conflicting answers. Only been doing this job for a couple months and Im completely green to this type of work.

Posting 1-2 word topics every day at the same time with multiple alts.

My guidance is very minimal. It's basically customer requirements and that's it. I've actually worked on a product where I don't even have customer requirements and that's brutal.

that's kinda how my job is too, even though it's far, far more limited than software design. I'm a home-installer for internet/TV/phone etc...it's a different puzzle with every home. There is no right answer. There are fewer answers than Software Design though, I think.

Still a pretty technical position from my perspective. I wouldn't consider it limited at all.

Being a competent professional means knowing that what you're doing will work to solve the problem at hand. That's as much of a "correct" answer as you need. You should self-evaluate on a regular basis to see if there's anything you can improve, but at the end of the day, all that actually matters is giving the customer something they'll be happy with, so if you're managing that, you're doing fine.

Agree. People who complain about blocking other users are the same people who would ask you to please remove the adblocker so the site can make money. Spam needs to be removed in order to make some sites usable.
