I also had the benefit of watching with my partner and my other roommate who are anime-only's and seeing their reactions to the final stretch was real good. Well it looks like I'm caught up already and yes this show is really good. The fundamentals are strong and I love how the show goes the extra mile with the directing styles for its gags. Like most shows you'd get a punchline of "haha Bocchi gets worn out by too much social interaction" for the hundredth time, but here you get (episode 7) ~~a 2 minute long parody of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind where Bocchi turns to dust and suffocates her bandmates, and then her parents walk in wondering what the hell happened~~.
