If anything, the older characters are slightly better, or at least on par. Power creep is harmful to both players and developers long-term. They were smart enough to figure out keeping everyone vaguely on the same level leads to people investing very deep into the characters they love instead. And if you love the char you're way more likely to open your wallet deeper. Also, if you don't make old characters useless years later, you can still sell them for big money at no effort invested. And yeah, no matter how much people shitpost Klee or Albedo as the weakest limited characters, they're still very powerful units that tear the hardest challenges apart when utilized correctly. --- This is my new wife. So my opinion of Edgelord is that hes pretty good but not very meta. Hes fun to play, though. His personal on-field damage is kinda meh, but he can do cool infusion stuff which is a great way to use Anemo. This is at C0 Lv 90 and 7/7/6 talents though. 1.) Yao has group stamina recovery and +15% dendro dmg buff. (= C1 required) 2.) Yaoyao scales on HP for healing, ATK for dmg. 3.) Her skill AND burst are effectively a combination of Sayu burst + Klee skill? 2 turrets from skill, 3 turrets from burst (summoned by Yao's dash and jump). 4.) Yao buffs her own movement speed in burst. My first impression is we absolutely need to see her in action. She will likely be the best coop healer in the whole game and might have very rapid single target dendro application. I think she might be superior to both Collei and DTrav.
