It was a lot more active, more interesting posters, actually had "moments", less strict rules, and half of the threads weren't Twitter links.

lmao you're high, it is insane what you'd get warned for back in the day and i think that drove a lot of activity towards other sites. it was like 2013 and the mods here were still expecting people to shower them with 2001 IRC levels of dickriding.
