Traveling is so stressful. I like staycations when i can. I get a bunch of games and pot, a book or two, and just enjoy all of it with cooking and stuff.

I love cruising because you go to different places, there's a variety of entertainment, and most importantly free unlimited food

Either a mountain cabin or a ski resort.

I'm not much of a snowboarder, but what I'm able to do is fun. I like hiking and I'm a rock climber so the mountains are also good.

Cruise. You get to stay on a massive floating resort, wake up to a new view outside of your balcony every day, and because food and entertainment are included in the price, it's one of the cheapest vacations you can take.

I'll never understand why cruises don't get more love.

Confinement to one space for an extended period, dislike of crowds, risk of catching pathogens from other travelers, seasickness/fear of the ocean, etc.

Except you're *not* confined, cause every single day you stop at a new place and have *plenty* of room to roam.

Crowds are literally a non-issue if you pick a big ship, like something from Royal Caribbean's Oasis Fleet. On my last trip, the ship was practically a ghost town.

Disease spreading is embellished. I've been on at least a dozen cruises and can confirm that it's a non-issue. Wear a mask if you're really *that* concerned.

Fear of the ocean I understand, but sea-sickness is a non-issue. Again, go with a big ship and you'll be fine.

My last cruise in January was $900 for two people. 7 day journey across the Caribbean. Last terrestrial vacation I took was to LA. The hotel alone was $1200 for the week, and it wasn't even half as nice as the cabin I had onboard the Haromony of the Seas. Once you factor in gas/flight, food, and entertainment, the cruise costed me about $2K, while a roadtrip to LA was closer to $3K. Given the choice again, I'd pick the cruise every time. Got to visit several exotic locales, swim with dolphins, take a ride on a literal jetpack, and not deal with traffic.
