My WFH set up is a fraud

Man Herman Miller chairs are expensive. I went with an Ergo 2 instead. Great for my back, sucks for my ass. Not sure how a memory foam cushion is that firm that it is actually hard. Took 2 years to break it in with my fat ass.

The trick is you don't get a new Herman Miller. You get a used one. Just find and contact a used office furniture store nearby. Inventories in general are up as offices keep downsizing because of WFH's prevalence so you can find a bunch of top of the line chairs at pretty steep discounts.

I honestly don't get the obsession. I plopped down 800 bucks for this pos and it doesn't even have a head rest? The fuck.

Also mesh? No thanks. I prefer leather. Mesh hurts my coccyx after several hours of sitting on it

In the context of a work office I guess its okay, it does the job, however for home use absolutely not, I'm trying to find a nice big and tall leather chair that's CEO worthy. Basically a lazy boy on wheels and swivel

I'd love to get a nice chair but my cats aren't well-trained enough yet.

They are probably not for everyone, but I will say that they last a really long time. I've been using this same Aeron for about 10 years now at full work usage and the only real failure was the lumbar foam that can be replaced.

The chairs you get from used furniture liquidators are almost always in good shape and have been professionally cleaned and refurbished.

Also I don't know why I'm bothering with this. It's just another shitty No_U_L topic. Though for once you probably are telling the truth. I fully believe that you can't afford a Herman Miller.
