But so heaven help you if you are conservative and try to go to world news, or if you are central or left leaning and ever try to go to one of the few conservative reddit that didn't eventually break the TOS to the point of deletion there. The main thing is that you will find that your comment is simply not visible if you say something with a hint of sufficient stupidity and/or Russian/far rightness that isn't against a sub's rules, but still clearly enough of an opinion on the side of Russia/far right that you get downvoted into oblivion. Also, stay the hell away from logic or leftness if you post on the conservative sub. Reddit is structured weird and messy, and the majority of users repeat the same fucking jokes over and over and over. It's usually a race to say the most obvious joke/meme and the winner gets 5k upvotes and 20 awards and the other 400 people that posted the exact same thing get some small pity likes.
