This is one of the weirdest, funniest movies Ive ever seen. The dialogue is horrible. The acting is wooden as possible. The premise is ridiculous. Its like this movie was made by aliens. I kind of love this.

Ive been going back and watching Yorgos Lanthimos films after I enjoyed Poor Things so much. Ive also seen the Favorite which I liked a lot, but it wasnt what I expected. He definitely has a unique style.

Sacred Deer and Lobster are next on my list. So far the filmmaker feels like a twisted / horny version of Tim Burton, which is kind of an awesome combination. Kind of like Burton mixed with Brian De Palma

I might just have to watch The Lobster tomorrow
