The snap. Like, a day after the snap when half the world went missing and evolved into chaos probably. Half the heroes are gone, etc.
How would society react if suddenly half of us were just gone?

Would be interesting but marvel want to treat the snap like a joke.

Im sorry. They called it The Blip in spiderman: far from home. And yeah they kinda poked fun like, what if this Chad gets snapped back and is like 6ft tall with a chiseled jaw and a 11th grade education who had a thing for MJ.

Yeah but that's kinda the opposite of what TC wants. They want to see what happens when half of all life disappears, not what happens when that half comes back.

That was more with dealing with everryone coming back. Which is interesting. I mean how the heck does the housing situation alone work? They didn't really get into it much.

It would have made for a great miniseries.

Hawkeye touched on it briefly with Black Widow's sister. She was gone and came back only to be in someone else's house and having lost everyone and everything.

It could have been an emotionally powerful show to show those left behind during and after the snap, then the fallout when everyone came back and interrupting their newly-formed lives.

I was hoping they'd cover it in the agents of shield show but apparently they decided it took place in an alternate universe or some shit

Too late now. They should have made a D+ series with like a more minor superhero dealing with this along with all the regular people.

Shit must have been pretty ugly the first few days to weeks. I bet lots of criminals took full advantage of the chaos.

I also don't like how the world seems absolutely unchanged post-Endgame. A sudden surge of 4 billion people after 5 years would probably be absolutely devastating. Way worse than the initial Blip.

Or show how criminals like the Kingpin suddenly rose in power because of the huge power vacums. I imagine someone who has smuggling rings would do very well after the world loses half its workforce.

Yeah, I loved Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin. He absolutely nails it in Daredevil and Punisher. And apparently hes in the Hawkeye show. So, yeah once half the crime is gone, what are the villains left doing?

He's also in the ECHO show (along with a brief appearance by Daredevil). He's the main villain and also the only thing that made that show even remotely watchable.

It's because it's a direct spinoff of the Hawkeye show and deals with the fallout between the two characters.

Would be so cool, like an opening scene at a super max prison right when the snap happens a bunch of guards disappear and basically all of the inmates escape including some heavy hitters.

Although it isnt Marvel, The Leftovers may be the closest thing to this.

Right, because the first 1/3 of Endgame was such an unserious laugh romp *rolls eyes*

This needs to be emphasized. The show directly tackled this issue with the main antagonist becoming a terrorist due to the mismanagement of the situation.

We got a very small glimpse of the chaos in Infinity War. Vehicles crashing, people panicking etc. But it was very, very brief.

Besides Falcon and WS the whole thing has been treated as being pretty inconsequential

It really bothers me that they never bothered to establish any new major heroes or villains that became active during those five years.
