Funny enough, it might be the conservatives that finally break the 2 party system. The only reason liberals and progressives don't take that risk, was because of conservatives blind loyalty. If they finally break that loyalty, others will follow, forcing the 2 parties to actually try harder.

Sadly, most polls show that most RFK voters would break for Trump over Kamala. Him dropping out will be good for Trump, to say otherwise is being dishonest with yourself.

I don't think it will but it will make it ever so slightly tighter, which matters in a race that is currently rather tight. Though a lot could and probably will change between now and November.

And even if they do help Trump, they're going to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of women, youths, and first-time voters excited enough to support Kamala.

Brainworm voters seem to me to be the type that'd more likely vote libertarian over voting Republican. This might net Trump some votes, but the libertarians more.

Many of the people who were legitimately supporting RFK will just stay at home, in this case him dropping out makes no difference.

There also people who tell pollsters they support RFK, but in the actual election they were always going to vote for Trump whether RFK was on the ballot or not. There are still many people in the U.S. who think it makes them look smart and cool to say they are voting third party, even if it's not true.

Nationally he's polling about 4.5% which I think would be the highest a third party has gotten since Ross Perot.

As an independent/non-party sure. Gary Johnson as libertarian candidate was well above that during summer months before it dropped to under 5.
