Not a porn game but just an ordinary 2D 8 bit platformer. The situation was probably a lot less dramatic than I was thinking but still entertaining to see in real time

I was a big MySpace kid back in the pre Facebook days. Kind of came with the territory of being a Warped Tour obsessed scene kid.

With that said, MySpace still had a shit load of problems. The top 8 feature used to start so many fights.

Easy solution. Just reboot the idea of the Top 8 but more customizable. A favorite film, TV show, video game, celebrity, design aesthetic, or whatever.

Bring MySpace back and revive Blockbuster as a digital movie rental service.

Myspace still exists but is basically permabroken the last few times I checked it out. And they appear to have purged the band accounts which sucks. I had some songs up there that are now lost to time and dust.

Bluesky is growing now that it's not invite-only. Let more people know about it like I've been doing, lol. Of course, I can't do it *on* Twitter because they immediately limit my reach by promoting another website.

Op missed the "new" MySpace phase. It already happened bruh and failed.

My account is out there apparently but I can't log into it or at least I didn't try enough passwords I might have used for it.

There was some music I liked on MySpace that never got released anywhere else.

I had no friends in MySpace

just like real life

The best thing about MySpace to me was the embedded music player and stumbling across some cool stuff when going from person to person's page.

What was even better was there were bands/artists who would comment to you and recommend a song and then you could visit their page and check out their stuff. What I really liked was being able to comment to them and have them actually interact back with you.

I was turned on to a few really cool random things back then that I have never been able to find any info about to this date.

I specifically remember this band called "Size Seven Hat" and I had talked to the woman who was lead singing and really liked some of their stuff and I have never been able to find anything on them to this day.

Stuff like that. So for me it was definitely a cool place for music discovery.

Yup. Thank god i had downloaded my old bands ep from our myspace before they deleted everything
