But a reboot/sequel would be Capcom's call, not his and if they want to print money they'd make a new DC game using their RE Engine system. I agree on paper but at the same time I'm trying to get in the mind of capcom's shareholders.....they are probably saying things like "see, see, look here, dino crisis 3 on the xbox is a financial failure, the excitement isn't there to dedicate this amount of money to this project!". Of course a lot of us will know that it wasn't the IP's fault for the mess that was dino crisis 3, but the suits will only think of stupid things like this. Ironic enough, it wasn't like the monster hunter IP was a overnight success in the west like it was for japan. Capcom actually spent the effort to keep working with it until they finally achieved the true break-out worldwide hit status with world. I feel like going for a more AA thing would achieve a balance of decent enough money to make something happen but it wouldn't be that bad of a financial risk if the game really does not end up selling well.
