First, on the tech specs specifically, Tales of Graces f Remastered is 30 frames per second on Switch with a 1080p docked / 720p portable resolution. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions run at 60 FPS and at a generally higher resolution, but thats to be expected. Also as a small tidbit, 31 save slots are available (30 regular, 1 auto save auto save is new).

Bandai Namco also shared more details about Tales of Graces f Remastereds improvements. This is in addition to what was previously confirmed enhanced graphics, destination icons, ability to turn off random encounters, some localized scenes that will be shown in English for the first time, and DLC included.

Tales of Graces f Remastered all improvements and additions
Added dash function While holding down the button, you can move at a dash that is faster than the normal run. You can also switch between run and dash. *This does not apply when using Maximum Speed from the Grade Shop or certain dishes.
Added enemy encounter switching function Added Encounter option to the menu. If you turn it off, you will not be in combat even if you come into contact with an enemy symbol in the field or dungeon. *However, this does not apply to some event battles.
Added event / Groovy Chat skip function You can skip an event or Groovy Chat by pressing and holding the corresponding button.
Added Groovy Chat dialogue forwarding function During Groovy Chat, you can move on to the next line by pressing the corresponding button.
Grade Shop available from the start of the first playthrough You can use the Grade Shop from the start of the first playthrough of the game. Purchased effects are automatically turned on, and some effects can be switched on/off from the Custom screen > Grade Shop. *Items related to data transfer, such as levels, cannot be purchased on the first playthrough.
Adding a destination icon The ! icon will be displayed at the destination of the main scenario. The remaining distance to the destination will also be displayed.
Cursor movement speed adjustment (World Map screen) While holding down the button, cursor movement speed on the world map will increase.
Added retry function when losing a normal battle Even if you lose a normal battle and the game ends, you can still retry.
Battle subtitles Subtitles will be displayed for post-battle dialogue and secret skill voices. You can turn them on or off in the options menu.
Help players understand newly acquired skills Newly acquired Artes and Skills will be displayed in green text.
Color vision support Dungeon gimmicks that are identified by color can now be solved by other methods.
Includes DLC Many DLCs from the original version are included. Note: Some content is excluded.
Added some overseas languages to Groovy Chat Some of the Groovy Chats that were only available in Japanese as DLC in the original version have been added to the remastered version in other languages.
Added option to set the overall volume From the customization screen, you can adjust the overall volume of the game, including background music, sound effects, voices, and cutscenes.
Sound effect adjustments Some sound effects have been adjusted and polished.
Added audio language switching function You can switch between English and Japanese voices.
Added key customization function You can freely customize the buttons assigned to field and battle controls.
Added hourglass icon to timed events To make it easier to spot time-limited events, an hourglass icon will be displayed on the screen.
Removal of online ranking feature The online ranking function, which uses the results of the Challenge Battles from the original version, has not been implemented in the remastered version.

I imagine the content in question is the anime collabs and the Hatsune Miku outfits for Sophie as well as Cheria's BoA outfit from the wii version

I'd be more upset but I'm getting it on PC so someone will mod them back in like they did for the DLC that was missing for Vesperia's port

we're not pleased with what the remaster took away. picture fits reaction exactly imo.
still plan on getting it at one point.

I understand if the code geass stuff isn't returning (I think both graces f and xillia 1 had code geass stuff, or it might have been xillia 1. Something like that) but they better stop playing and give me my idol master outfits, lol. We were robbed of idolmaster pascal all those years ago.

EDIT: Ah yeah, I knew I remembered seeing code geass graces stuff and being mad we didn't get it.

Not seeing it on Steam yet, but I'm looking forward to it. One of the Tales of games that I never got to try. And the grade shop being immediately available sounds awesome. No waiting until new game+ like Vesperia :)

Graces f was the first game I played in the Tales series and it really painted my opinion of every other game and not for the better
