Her portrayal of Jean Grey in X-Men can be described thusly; A brick wall has more charisma.

She is not a very physical actress, and raiding tombs requires no small amount of physical aptitude.

I wish they had made sequels to that 1 reboot movie they did, based on the first rebooted game. I thought the actress literally looked like Lara Croft. She was perfect

Why is everyone involved with Game of Thrones has been to given a prominent role in a movie/tv show, after Thrones had ended? It's like CEOs of companies are trying to capture a little bit of the magic that show has going, before it bombed in the final two+ seasons.

I'd like to see an MMA or karate fighter cast into the Lara Croft role instead. Someone with fighting experience, and at least decent enough looks and acting. Sophia Turner doesn't look like Lara Croft material.

But yeah, Sophie Turner is a puzzler. She cant act.

Jamie Lannister was in that Shotcaller movie. i thought that was atleast decent.

Why not go for Emilia Clarke if shooting for a GoT actress?

Yeah there's several good actors in the huge cast of characters on that show. I sometimes forget some like Pedro Pascal were on the show, if just for a short while.

Bring Vikander back damnit! She was great as someone based on the Survivor trilogy.

But yeah, I can't see Sophie Turner being as involved in the action aspects.

There's not many of those that can actually competently and not wooden. They'd need a hell of a supporting cast to make that work

About the only think that makes sense for the casting is the height, and that's largely been irrelevant when translating characters to film.

It's nothing to do with hair colour, it's because she's been absolutely rubbish in everything she's been in.

I really hope this doesnt happen. Ill lose a good 80% of my hype for this.
Shes a horrible actress with the range of a block of wood.
she doesnt show emotion at all and shes just stiff in her face and her body in movements.

I had to look up what shed done in the past. Ah, the Jean Grey from the most recent X-men films. Yeah, charism vacuum.

I really try not to criticise casting choices anymore. But this doesn't work for me.

Sophie Turner hasn't been good outside of Game of Thrones and let's be honest she wasn't a powerhouse there.

I really want Tomb Raider to go back to the old school pulp adventure style and not the Survivor lineage.

This has killed any interest I have beforehand.
