Been a while. Figure we'd see how everyone did with their GSSRs and how they're looking after the lotto.

My SQ coffers are completely emptied thanks to having to go to pity for Morgan NP3. But I did get Kiara NP2 with my GSSR and I got Bedivere up to Np4 on the Camelot banner.

Now I'm debating if I wanna use my holiday bonus from work to roll for anyone on any of these current banners. I really would like Iskandar and I don't have any strong Rider servants, but still... whiffing on Jalter and struggling like that on Morgan really has me not wanting to try on anything for a while lol

Anyway I'm finally starting LB5. LB7 is gonna be out here soon so I figure it's time to stop lollygagging and I did enjoy having a topic to discuss the story in so here we are!

Got through most of the prologue. FINALLY got to meet Miss Corday. Been looking forward to that for a long time honestly.

Lotto: 375 boxes total, of which I've opened like... 80 so far? Usually I open them during the lotto or the day after but I'm already basically topped up on EXP before the lotto and then I kept getting distracted by banners I would roll on or the GSSR and I was like "but the efficiency if I just wait until all that passes and use the EXP for those..." Grailed Arc to 100 since I lucked into NP2 for her so it might help some (plus she was arguably the Exhibition Quest MVP) and then Grailed Fujino from 100 to 102 to sink some EXP. She actually should hit Bond 14... probably today?... and then I can go to 104. But I think that's about it, I'll have to burn the rest - oh well more Mana Prisms. 375 is by far my lotto record. Think my old one was 200 boxes but 6 slot Melu 90++ doing work.

GSSR: Got Hokusai. New Servant for me so I'm happy (Only had like a 1/3 chance of a dupe, but I had like a 1/5 chance for a dupe on the first Start Dash GSSR and found it anyway.) Really as along as I dodged another GSSR Skadi NP Level I would be "okay" but outside maybe a MHXA dupe I'd have been disappointed a bit by "just" an NP level probably. Wouldn't call Hokusai one of my top targets but certainly not bad either.

I'm in the LB7 Kukulkan/Tlaloc waiting room (no matter how tempting Muramasa is right now) after I ended up using 630 SQ to get two rate-up SRs lol. No more whimsy rolling for me this year. ...I say after having said I was done rolling for the year after Jalter who was herself a similar impulse roll.

Atlantis is pretty good times though, LB5 (both parts) in general is really good IMO.

Got Holmes on my GSSR. Not one of the ones I wanted really badly (I'm resisting the urge to pull for Musashi, Hassan, and Melt), but still one of the better options, so no complaints.

"Only" did 170 lotto boxes. Managed to work through sorting everything, and burnt through the friend points. Finally got Angra Mainyu after about 1.5 million, so that's nice. Up to 563 million SQ, which felt good until I realized it was enough for.... 1/5 of everything I want to do.

My plan is to hoard until Draco, with the possible exception of Tez if I like him enough. Currently at 332 SQ and 90 tickets, although after 411 days I'm finally close to running out of free SQ I can easily get.

Damn I really didn't grind as much as I should. I think I only got like 65 lotto boxes. Seeing the numbers you guys got is humbling. I got a long way to go!

I don't really care for Kukulkan that much but everyone seems to want her. Draco looks cool and like an insanely powerful servant but honestly I think I just need to start saving for the summer servants right now. Summer Morgan and Ciel are my most important ones.

I'd consider my 375 to be a pretty extreme outlier lol. Like I said, my previous record was 200 and I think my "typical" lotto experience is more in the 150ish range.

This was just the happy convergence of 90++ (first lotto to have it) and Melu being able to 6-slot (so everyone had the Lotto CE) 2 of the rounds adding up to some silliness.

I did 250 boxes, which is the least I've done since Ishtarfest in 2021. Once I got about the amount of steel (and well past the amount of needles/mirrors) I need for the next two years there wasn't much point in continuing. Everything else in this lotto comes back in Nemomas but with much more, plus it's easier to farm, plus there's bond bonuses.

I haven't done the GSSR yet. I probably will at some point. Only really want Sigurd from it, but there's a lot of other stuff I wouldn't mind.

As for rolling plans, mostly just want summer servants again, plus Kuku, plus lancer Melu. Surprise Lip banner coming up means I might not need to roll the one in January for coins, though I don't have much saved up now.

I don't need Melu because a lot of you guys have her at 100 already anyway.

When is that lotto? Sorry if this was answered in discord already. I'm actually not super prepared for anything coming up in the near future. Morgan totally draining me was not in the plan. LOL remember when I was dreaming of getting her to np5 with that banner?

Nemomas aka Nemo Christmas will be late December 2025. It has stakes and homunculus babies in the boxes like Morganfest, plus proofs drop from the final stage. So that's 3 mats in common total. In addition, it has gunpowder and shells and exchange tickets in the boxes, and the last stage also drops eggs, scarabs and a new mat. The exchange tickets are basically mats of your choice between five: lanugos, horns, cores, crowns and arrowheads. Then on top of all that, there's stage that drops tiny bells that doesn't require AP, instead it uses an item from the boxes (that could also be exchanged for QP if you need it; I certainly won't).

In the meantime there's another lotto in May that you'll also probably want to farm a lot. It has bones, fangs, chains, medals and pages.

I'm not in discord so not aware of the NP5 aspirations (or if you put it in this topic earlier I forgot). I take it you got at least NP2 then?

Considering how new you are, you should just do as many lottos as possible, ExTha. They're all great for you.

GSSR, got Kiara. Defcon 5 event. Please god no, I hate her so much.

Slacked on the lotto, only got 192 boxes, didn't even bother with the challenge quests. New job, too busy / tired, etc.

On the bright side, got my favorite space catboy to level 120, now to get one more NP level on Kama so I can do the same with her

NP3 is pretty good. Arcueid is really the only servant that benefits much from going past NP3, other than getting coins to 120 earlier.

Whiffed on Iskandar though. I did one cheeky paid SQ trying to get NP2 BB and ended up pinging Passionlip. Not my favorite design in the world but always happy to have more Alter-Egos.

I see everyone salivating about Kukulkan... is she legit a great character along with a powerful servant or something? I wasn't super sold on the design and wanna save for Draco and then Summer Morgan/Castoria.

I also REALLY wanna roll Scathach in May.

She does some neat things IIRC but no she's not meta defining or anything AFAIK. Actually, IIRC the current meta Servants are all basically out now - I don't think there's really been a "shake-up" since Summer Skadi and even that was just basically "Skadi+" There's been some neat niche use cases like some of the Summer Chloe shenanigans but in terms of "the meta" I think it's mostly the same across both NA and JPN right now:

DPS: Summer Ibuki might still be king for AoE. IIRC Summer Castoria is actually a superior ST DPS to what we have but not crazily so. Draco is also supposed to be a really good ST DPS AFAIK.
Supports: Koyanskaya of Light (Buster), Castoria (Arts - and also kinda everything ngl), Summer Skadi/Skadi (Quick), and Oberon (Basically everyone)
With the "lesser" support constellations of your Wavers, Reines, Merlin, Lady Avalon, etc. circling around.

For me it's mostly the comedy of (LB7 Spoilers) ORT waifu. Also to (almost) complete my collection of Lostbelt Kings. If you have other priorities you can probably skip her.

I mostly just like her design. I'm also not super invested into any of the omni buster loopers and she seems do do alright at just lv90 NP2. Raikou getting 30% charge later made Kuku feel a lot more optional to me.

There was fanart a few weeks ago of like, Ritsuka holding a postcard from another city and Tenochtitlan looking at it getting jealous. So good.

Tezcatlipoca is considered quite a bit better than Kukulkan, I think.

I actually was halfway through typing, "Actually I think Tez is considered the more 'useful' LB7 Servant" but stopped because I couldn't really back that up beyond just the impressions I had gotten. But yeah, I think you're right.

As for Aesc/Arc and the new appends. ...Maybe? I'll be real here I'm not too sure how much the new appends changed things.

So before, Arc basically had two options. Double Oberon (with another 50% charger, I think Reines is generally best) to max wave 3 damage, or double Koyanskaya + Ibuki for more wave 1 and 2 damage, or to target man attribute. New append allows her to use double Koyan + Oberon for kinda the best of both worlds, though wave 3 damage is still somewhat lower than double Oberon against non-man enemies.

Oh and this is all with 0% charge. With any sort of charge CE she could already do double Koyan + Oberon, so all told I don't think this has that big of an impact. If she was below Ibuki before she still should be.

Also since I got him to NP4 I've been using Bedivere a lot. The idea of him partying up with Morgan instead of his King is kind of funny.

I just need to get Scales of Fantasy in abundance to level up S1 and S2 to 10 for Morgan. I think I need 48 total, but I know you get a good amount of them in LB6.

Wow, what a fucking great group we've assembled here. It's so randomly put together but not. Mandricardo's insecurities, Corday's desire to understand the world in more than black and white, Jason's redemption, Achilles' ideals.

All of that alongside us, who for the first time has seen what an incredible Master like Kirchstaria can do. We've gone this whole time maybe not thinking we're the best Master, but we felt great at it almost instinctively and our results have shown that.

Kirchstaria just shows up and one shots us and all of our servants and it instantly fills us with this need to overperform, even though there's no way we can just close that gap on willpower alone. Definitely great character writing all around for this lostbelt.

I watched the summary for this TWICE and didn't catch the bit about her with Zeus Klironomia.

Kirschtaria's Noble Phantasm (and the chant he uses in the Atlantis appearance) may be my favorite in the entire game.

It is possible to beat him there if you know exactly what you're doing and exploit a few tricks.

IIRC, Nasu wanted him to be technically defeatable and have a defeat line there as an Easter Egg/reward but I've forgotten where I heard that so it may be some urban legend shit that I have confused for real.

Yeah Kirchstaria is amazing. I also loved how he was like "Hm, yeah that makes sense sure" when the Chaldean asked him to spare us.

I don't remember if its here or in Olympus but the most random lore drop ever is them explaining what the ember hands are and why they're in the simulator in LB5.

I am so hype for this showdown. I love the way they switched to Odysseus's perspective and saw him doubting himself, then Jason doing the same as we prepare to square off.

Get ready, Olympus. Get ready to see what Chaldea can do, even against all odds!

Atlantis beated finally. Jumping right into Olympus. Hyped about Lostbelt 7 being released. I'm sure you guys are gonna have a lot of fun going through that if you're there.
