Essentially, an author or show that repeats specific phrases too much.

Sons of Anarchy really liked to use "reach out to XYZ" or "get in bed with XYZ," like two or three times an episode.

Jim Butcher can barely get through a book without someone running through a forest in a "mile-eating lope."

Not a phrase, but I absolutely hate with a fiery passion the stupid clunky sound effects that accompany a scene change in Seinfeld.

It is to this day the only reason I refuse to watch the show, because it turns my spine to glass every time I hear it.

Any unironic use of the phrase "the Heart." As in "I'm not doing this with my brain, I'm doing this with my heart." I just watched the Wild Robot and it was really good, but when they started talking about hearts, it gave me Kingdom Hearts flashbacks.

Yeah, that has always annoyed me too. Especially because the brain is responsible for both logic and emotion. I wonder why the heart organ got so much emotive romanticism attached to it. I'm guessing people thought the "soul" was linked to both heart and mind/brain for a time

The hearts just an indoor plumbing device lol

I noticed the other day while watching old clips of Evolution (so Randy, Batista and Hunter cutting promos) is that their slow manner of speaking, with lots of pauses, is just so they don't misspeak or lose their place.

But in kayfabe, it's presented as if its because they're so conniving and sinister so they speak like cartoon villians. It works I guess.
