My feeling on that decision was I just honestly didn't know what would be good for anyone, and just having more stuff can likely be a burden for my peers at this point. Got nothing for anybody at home because of the glaring fact we've been (or more like, I have been) putting in time and money towards getting rid of shit. Last thing we need is any stuff whatsoever. My parents bought me and my sister some of the stuff we wanted every Christmas as a kid, but other than that my dad never wanted us to buy anything for him ever and my mom was satisfied with something small like a scarf or bracelet that she picked out which we could combine with her birthday since they were within a month of each other. Extended family would just visit for dinner and I'd maybe get some money as a present from them but never really expected it outside of my grandparents on the years they could make it. So every Christmas as an adult my Christmas list has either been nonexistent or very small.
