Bob is a legend, but I really liked how Drew handled the show. I had to watch it daily when I worked in television at the time. It was always fun watching him break down in laughter from a contestant's dumbassery!

Always bothered me that you could just guess $1 more than someone else and basically destroy their odds of winning. Always felt like they should instead enter their numbers secretly and then reveal them all at once, and if two people guessed the same winning price, whoever locked it in first gets to win the round.

Drew has never equaled this moment, Bob was such a great host. This was in Bobs later years too

I disagree with

Cliffhangers, admittedly mostly for the jingle.

I've gotta be honest. I don't really care for it. It's all one big commercial and the rules with how they pick contestants is just unfair. One player shouldn't have that strong and advantage over another just because they're picked to say their number last.

I remember watching cliffhangers as like a 4 or 5 year old kid and having nightmares about it. But also being a weird kid I wanted to watch it again so I could have more nightmares about it.

Looking back, it was just a funny game.

The reason they do it that way is the person who is gets randomly picked from the audience replaces the person who won, so they haven't had a chance to bid yet. The person who bids last is the person who bid just before the last person who won, so they get the advantage next round.

I have heard people who live in LA basically go on that show all the time just because it is free to enter and they film it so much you are pretty much guaranteed to get picked eventually. You also get something free for just sitting in the audience for an hour, which is better then most game shows.

The best thing about Cliff Hangers is when you know that Janice Pennington's husband was a mountain climber who died in a mountain climbing accident. And she had to stand around and model prizes while watching the little dude fall off the mountain every time.

I fucking loathed him as host of Whose Line. Mainly because I watched the British version of the show for years and Clive Anderson was infinitely better. Though he wasn't the only thing I disliked about the US version.

I also prefer Drew as host of Whose Line over anyone

His laugh is amazing

Whoa, now that's a wild story.

Also, I voted plinko, but it's arguably the worst game. Even if you get the max chips, you could get very screwed on the money won.

I actually had a college friend go on the show, and she got to play Plinko. She was AWFUL and won like 1 bonus chip. That said, one of them landed in the max $10,000 slot anyways. The irony being, her family is also incredibly wealthy.

I use to watch it at home quite often. But a few years ago, we started watching it at work everyday

Drew is probabaly a likable guy, but he's a terrible host. He doesn't have the charm and wit to be a good host. He's reactionary in a very simple way, but can't lead a conversation. He's about of par with Jimmy Fallon, for the same reasons. Bob and especially Clive were far better in their respective shows.
