No reason to wear a watch. ...Except for fashion I guess. ...and Smart Watches.

Got a watch for my 5th birthday. Worn one ever since.

I can tell the time with a quick glance that goes unnoticed. As opposed to having to take my phone out of my pocket and turn the screen on.

No. I don't tolerate them well. I find them uncomfortable and I fidget with them.

Yes, I wear a mechanical wrist watch. Most of the time with some kind of automatic movement. It's a little more convenient than pulling my phone out, and it's pretty much the only "jewelry" I wear since men have a lot less socially acceptable options for decoration like that.

I do that I pretty much use every day, although its more to track exercise during runs or walks. I like watches in general and have some nicer dressy ones.

I wear two.

Regular watch, analogue (currently broken so needs repairing) nothing fancy.
I use it for time keeping in my lessons, it's on my wrist so I don't have to turn to look at the clock.

I also have a fitbit for the fitness tracker.

Not interested in a smart watch or spending more than 70 for something I wear on my wrist.

i used to wear a watch that would wind itself as you wore it, was pretty nice since it was a metal one with a decent sized face. unfortunately, since it's been years and i got a little fat it got really tight on my wrist. not sure where the box is with the extra links is

Regular watch for these reasons. Time and date, that's all I need.

I used to daily for work as I had a job where certain things needed to be precisely timed and certain numbers needed to be written down at certain times on the clock but as my job has upgraded over the years these things became automated and logged digitally automatically and I no longer need a watch on my wrist.

Just access to a wall clock to keep a generalize but not precise schedule. So I no longer wear one but I still appreciate a good mechanical watch. I dont own a cell phone so I dont have the time on me constantly so outside my truck when Im running errands/traveling it can still be nice to wear one.

But Ill only wear a mechanical watch, not a smart watch as I prefer the aesthetics of a mechanical watch. Smart watches dont look good to me.

I used to wear a Samsung Watch and when it finally broke it was honestly liberating. Those things are only useful if you wear them exclusively and basically all the time and that destroys their role as a fashion accessory. Now I can rotate my modest collection of real watches and its much nicer.

Yes, Sinn 104.
I've looked at adding to the rotation, and sure there are definitely nicer watches, but this one has been perfectly fitting for me. I do want the sandblasted one with the red seconds hand, but my first one never let me down apart from the so-so power reserve that can almost never let me go a day without wearing it.

Google and bestbuy did very well. They convinced me to wear a watch by including the pixel watch 2 with the pixel 8 and then basically made the pixel watch 3 free when I traded in the the old watch and phone.

I used to through to the end of school. I think there was a time I might have carried one in my pocket cause I didn't feel like wear it or the strap broke or something. I don't remember. I eventually got a phone, which was admittedly late compared to others at the time, and have used it ever since.
