She is a nurse practitioner who is a primary care provider for primarily Medicare/Medicaid patients and patients without insurance. Their office focuses on providing health care to the underserved populations in Mid Michigan. The only way the office exists is with Medicare/Medicaid and through special Federal & State funding.

I'm not surprised that the first people getting screwed are the poor, but god damn, I've been caught off guard with how quickly the boot is dropping with this regime change.

Yep. They're really not holding back with the performative cruelty. It's going to be a long four years.

I'm not even that worried for us because she'll find a job relatively quickly. However, there are a lot of people with a lot of mental health issues that will not be taken care of if these kinds of services aren't available.

A judge blocked it, but that is temporary and it would ultimately end up at the Supreme Court and we all know how that will end.

When somebody asks you what your basis is for believing that somebody lied, saying that what they said has been debunked doesn't answer that question. That question places the onus on you to debunk it, sharing the sources of said debunking information. Otherwise, you're just saying "my basis for believing that they lied is that I believe that they lied," and that's just completely void of semantic value.

Mind you, those conclusions aren't entirely off base, given that despite his condemnation of violent Nazis in that interview, he very specifically made a point of equally condemning those threatening violent Nazis with violence in a way that was pretty obviously meant to make sure his Nazi fans still liked him, but factual accuracy is still important.

Noting also that that's one example, when we're talking about a guy who tells half a dozen lies every time he opens his mouth. Two wrongs don't make a right, certainly, but they also don't mean that fixating on one of those wrongs and ignoring the others makes sense.

You have to appreciate Trump for actually doing something though. Every president makes promises before entering office, including Trump in his first term, but how many of them actually follow through with those promises? Let alone in the first week. It was even stated during both of their debates. I believe Obama stated it as well. Looooooooong after it was debunked. They pushed and inflated slanderous lies in an attempt to persuade Americans to vote for them.

In regards to Trump's "lies". The majority of what they consider as his lies are hyperbole. I'll admit that there were times that he would embellish and exaggerate when it came to discussing topics and the information he provided. I always saw it as one of the tactics he uses and it obviously worked, though sometimes I would be telling the TV "dude, they're going to attempt to drag you with that".

I'm honestly surprised you've never seen the evidence debunking most of their bullshit claims. You are typically fairly informed.
