Yeah, that's kind of a copout that was just invented by Sanders supporters as this idea that most of the country agreed with them but the wicked Dems held them back. Sanders lost.

Sanders lost numerous coalitions across the board. Biden absolutely stomped him with the working class. There's nothing else to say about it. The idea he was a champion denied his place bear up to no substantive evidence.

bernie has great policies but is terrible at messaging

he stupidly said "musk is right" and "RFK is right"

yes the context makes it clear he only means specific things but it dont matter he said those things and it was fed to the entire world as that

this is the guy who got conned into letting right wing grifters manage his 2nd campaign

rather than whining about bernie almost 10 years later

put your focus on promoting progressive canidates now really help push AoC to everyone

then on the very slim chance we have an election in 2028 her name can be well known enough she has a shot

He lost because rank and file working class Dems didn't vote for him. They heard his pitch repeatedly and his tone deafness on social issues was a huge problem.

again, the mythic savior narrative needs to die and never be used for a politician at all.

This is prepping the political environment for 2026, in order to justify NOT VOTING in the Democratic primary and just not voting at all in the general election.

This sort of thing really shouldn't be allowed, if we want to save the country through lawful means.

When you aren't being propped up by your own party and you are slandered by both sides, it hurts you. The democrats never, ever aired positive messages about Bernie. Ever. The energy came from people and word of mouth. Michael Bloomberg joined the race just to try to get more options away from Bernie. And I don't care what anyone says but I fully believe that when the DNC saw Bernie take Iowa and other states were starting to poll him high, they propped up Pete and Amy for the sheer reason to pull them out after pulling people to moderate ground and back Biden, because neither of these two lasted long and they both dropped early to assure things didn't get 'too late'.

The DNC is happy as a clam to fight left-wing growth. They'll never do shit about right-wing growth and welcome the Liz Cheneys in. It's ridiculous.

Inform me when Democrats air "positive messages" about candidates during a primary. In any capacity. It's up to the candidates to air positive messages.

You have unsupported conspiracy theories isn't something I can do anything about. Literally nothing has remotely suggested them and last I checked, Warren tore Bloomberg apart on stage. You recognize if someone wants to run and fulfills the requirements, they get to?

Liz Cheney spoke about how important abortion access and democracy was, nothing else. Biden brought on John Kasich to the DNC and won independents. Bernie bragged he could get conservatives on board, so this double standard is tiresome. I'm sorry Bernie was so arrogant he didn't think he'd need to win any allies and alienated even the Warren camp by being an asshole with his campaign strategists even smugly saying they weren't reaching out and people have to start kneeling to them. He just blames everyone else because he's bad at politics.

Bernie had years to message and somehow it's everyone's fault but his people didn't want what he sold.

The rural Bernie 2016 primary voters only voted for Bernie because they thought Hillary was a bitch and then rural Bernie 2016 primary voters all came out for Biden in 2020 once Bernie was up against someone other than Hillary.

There is a thing I don't get. Bloomberg did go into the race because he didn't want Bernie to win, but the idea Bloomberg ccan make his own choices. They think Dems can do anythng and everything except win generals.

Bloomberg's a damn billionaire. He went in because he wanted to be President and the rules are "if you qualify and get the signatures, you're in." The other candidates openly loathed him

That's literally the exact opposite of what happened. Bloomberg's first primary was also the first primary without Buttigieg & Klobuchar. By joining he had a chance of helping Bernie by keeping the moderate block split. But then Bloomberg did terrible on Super Tuesday and dropped. Had Bloomberg done well, it would've kept Biden down and kept Bernie competitive for longer.
