Damn, this secret was kept for two decades but with Delta coming out soon, she came clean.

Kind of a silly reason to hide it imo, lots of actors and voice actors associated with kids media have done roles for adult-aimed media. Even ones who worked for Disney.

I mean, I get how in Japan some voice actors will use pseudonyms when they do work for eroge or hentai, but someone in America needing one for Metal Gear seems a bit extreme...

Yeah especially since (unfortunately) people in America don't really care about voice actors except when it's some gimmick celebrity casting. Seems only Japan has this whole industry around voice acting.

She was also that demon lady in Grandia 2. Grandia series and MGS series shared a lot of VAs. An actress from Spongebob was in MGS3 under her real name and it didn't hurt her career.

Why even risk the ire of The Mouse though? She did something niche that "could" have cost her future work had she used her regular name so to mitigate risk she used a pseudonym and lost absolutely nothing by doing so.

Bruh Jim Cummings, voice of Pooh, was in Skyrim dropping lines like "buxom women warming our bed" and calling people bastards. And that's hardly the only "adult" thing he's done.

So....because other people are comfortable enough to not give a damn about association, she should be derided for doing so? I honestly don't think it's particularly noteworthy given how innumerable performers and creators have used pseudonyms forever, for all sorts of reasons.

Who is deriding? I'm just saying it's weird. It ain't that deep.

My personal favorite is Alyson Court, who played Loonette in The Big Comfy Couch going on to voice Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil series.

That actually makes perfect sense. If I had consumed both of these in the same decade, I almost certainly would have noticed.
