I truly believe that everyone I know wants things to improve for their family, friends, and neighbours. I feel that this election was Canada coming together to say that they do not want the hawkish hard right wing politics that Trump is making infamous right now. We as Canadians, to our core, are not largely identifying with hating others. This is also showing that a hawkish hard left wing approach is not what Canadians want with the NDP coming out oddly aggressive towards everyone. It is my hope that the Conservative Party will move away from that messaging and return to their values of economic responsibility and supporting traditional values. The NDP will move away from their recent vilifying of people and show the compassion and need for social government programs they have normally focused on.
