Doesn't help that people bring up politics everywhere including non political spaces and people feel the need to report on every single stupid thing he says all the damn time. Every time he opens his mouth he says something stupid. We don't need a new topic or article on it every single time.

I hate walking through my house anymore because every time I pass my parents' bedroom or go through the living room, they're watching some shit on YouTube about Trump. Thankfully it's not pro-Trump stuff, we're as anti-MAGA as they come, but they literally watch this stuff 24/7 and it's fucking exhausting.

They want every conversation to be about him, too. I've told every member of my family in very clear words that I have absolutely no desire to talk, think, look at, or hear about him all day long, and yet every time we're in a room or a car together the first words out of their mouth are "Did you hear what Trump did/said?"

I hate the motherfucker just as much as they do, but they can't figure out that I don't want to obsess over him. I know he's an idiot. I know he's fucking evil. I know what he's doing, I keep up with the news. But I don't need to hear some YouTuber or talk show host reminding me of that all day long, and I don't want him dominating every conversation I have with someone.

Have you ever tried to talk about an industry and how it would face hard times and relate that to the stock market only for someone listening to get really upset believing you were implying Trump is doing a bad job and making things political?

Unless you are extremely positive always, you are being political. This is the climate we are in.
