The fact that we went from economic upswing to having legit worries of food shortages and a new great depression on just 5 months is so wild to me, I've never seen a country destroy itself this fucking fast before and it's still eating itself as we speak, hatred and ignorance is deadlier and more addictive than any drug or booze on the market.

Oh, and 99% of Toilet paper is manufactured in the US. Some brands add eucalyptus pulp sourced mainly from brazil, but I don't think you're going to have to worry about stockpiling.

Panic buying only increases the problem.

Shelves will be empty. Even if trade resumes as normal tomorrow, we will still potentially going weeks without some things being stocked. You gotta be prepared not to buy food in that time.

That being said, I did buy an extra box of the zerowater water filters I use. I figure there's a very realistic chance that becomes hard to get lol. I should be good for like 7 months of water filtering lol.

Unless we actually start having a civil war or some war on American soil it's not gonna get that bad. I suspect at least, and I also think if it gets that bad then I'm probably already fucked to hell and back anyway.
