Well, I don't really understand the question.

I like some movies that are black and white. Like, The Manchurian Candidate is one I watched recently and it was ok. Or Metropolis is one of my all-time favorite movies.

I don't think I've ever saw a black & white movie.

I did however grow up watching reruns of black & white shows on Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite and TV Land. IE I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver, Bewitched(earlier seasons), I Dream of Jeannie(earlier seasons), The Munsters etc.

Yeah, I used to watch a lot with my grandpa. I really liked Marx Bros. and Laurel and Hardy flicks. Of course there were a ton of black and white war movies that he introduced me to that I never would have seen otherwise.

As far as modern black and white flicks go, I still havent seen the lighthouse, but Ive heard amazing things. Schindlers List was fantastic and I thought the first Sin City was awesome.

There is nothing inherently good or bad about them. Something being in black and white won't change my view on if it sucks or not. Seven Samurai isn't an amazing movie simply because it's in black and white, for instance.

Godzilla One -C was amazing.

Outside of that? Uh, Pleasantville, The Lighthouse, and some old horror movies are all great.

I don't really go out of my way to hunt down black and white movies, but I've definitely seen more than a few of em. Don't hate any movie because of its production tho.

I have seen many black and white movies, and quite a few are all-time greats. I've probably seen all of the ones on the IMDB top 250. I don't think of them as a separate class or type of film, although any old black and white movie still relevant today must have a reason for it.

Too many to list. And my childhood was full of tv shows that were black and white or at least started in black and white and transitioned over to color in that mid to late 60s era. Like it was seriously common. Probably half the shows I regularly watched were black and white in the early seasons.

12 angry men is amazing. Pristine. Excellent. The remake is actually pretty good too.

House on Haunted Hill is pretty fun. Uuh I think that's it for b&w movies I cared for. But I haven't watched much more than those.

Yes, although I can't recall the name of it, all I remember was it was a German language film

*SPOILERS*

There's a female antagonist armed with a gun that shoots out a spider and in a scene towards the end she's in a boat and this time uses a normal gun to shoot at cops who are chasing her in a speedboat

My spirit brother. I'm a massive western fan that grew up on all the older movies, but especially the shows. Shows I still watch reruns of to this day. Was such a fan of Bonanza (even though it was in color obviously) that I visited the location and have been in the house near Lake Tahoe.

I love the early morning lineup of History and Icon channel that shows a bunch of great stuff every weekday. I still watch reruns of Cheyenne.

Just watched Young Frankenstein yesterday, it holds up great. Granted, its only 50 years old, as opposed to 75 or 100 years like lots of other black and white films, so while it was clearly a choice to do that one in black and white, I think it works well.

Seen my fair share of old westerns, and early Godzilla films, and kung fu movies that were also black and white, always like those.

Seven Samurai is the best movie ever. Plus all the other Kurosawa classics. And Film Noir. Classic Hitchcock. Night of the Living Dead. 8 & 1/2, La Dolce Vita, Dr. Strangelove, Metropolis, M, The Best Years of Our Lives, Casablanca, the Maltese Falcon, The Third Man, etc.

Honestly, I would take those movies over pretty much everything that has come out in this century.

I don't actually have a preference, and will watch any movie if it's engaging enough. That said, I love classic movies, so I probably have a higher tolerance of the non-color fare than many.

Two of the best haunted house movies are black and white:
The Haunting and The Innocents

And then there's Joan Crawford and Bette Davis in What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?
Plus, Streetcar Named Desire, Nosferatu, Psycho, The Great Dictator, To Kill A Mockingbird, and Sunset Blvd.

Also great shows like Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Cheyenne is great. I basically leave my TV tuned to the western station. Here's my question, have you seen Cowboy In Africa? And if so where can I watch it, cause I like the premise of it, but I'm having a heck of a time finding it anywhere.

I have not seen it and doubt I will as I don't really stream and *if* you were ever going to find it then I think it would be more likely to be on some streaming service.

I like Chuck Connors though and still watch reruns almost daily of The Rifleman. Fucked me up just a few years ago when Johnny Crawford died. I would definitely watch Cowboy in Africa if I could though just because of Chuck.
