ZeroSignal posted... - Andrade violated his 90-day no compete clause when he appeared in AEW, and now runs the risk of being suspended 1 yearImportant note on this. The 90 day non-compete clause requires WWE to pay the person for that time and wreslters are typically notified if that will be the case. No indication was given to Andrade that they intended to enforce it/pay him (supposedly because WWE did not plan on it and didn't expect AEW to resign him right away). After his appearance on AEW they decided that they were going to enforce it but were still not going to pay him because he got fired. --- "Hope is allowed to be stupid, unwise, and naive." ~Sir Chris ... Raw recap in Sacramento - Adam Pearce kicks off Raw in the ring. He's ready to provide a physical update on Rollins but is interrupted by the arrival of Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker holding the World Heavyweight title. Pearce is glad they're here; because of their actions, Seth is at home after major surgery, will be out for a long period of time, and the World title is officially vacant. Tonight there will be an over-the-top rope battle royal, and the winner will face CM Punk for the title at Saturday Night's Main Event. Pearce demands Bron to hand him the title. Bron wants Pearce to show some respect and ask nicely. Pearce tells Bron to respectfully hand over the title. Bron asks him to say please, in which Pearce reluctantly obliges. Bron gives the belt to Heyman instead, who then gives Pearce the title. After Pearce leaves, Heyman asks why is everyone so mad at them. Heyman did what he did in recent months because he knew that Bron and Bronson were the future of the business, and if it meant using Seth Rollins, then so be it. He said Rollins couldn't shoulder the responsibility of leading The Vision, and that he's nothing more than a bum shoulder bitch. The Brons are future main eventers, and we live in their world now. - Raquel Rodriguez hypes up Roxanne for her match with Stephanie Vaquer. Dom walks in and immediately the mood dies, as Finn is upset with Dom getting them a tag title defense last week. Dom says that was all AJ Styles' fault, but also mentions that he's already beaten both Styles and Lee before. Finn and JD decide that they won't help Dom against Rusev tonight and leave. Roxanne consoles Dom for a moment before Raquel tells her to snap out of it and prepare for her match later - AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to win the World Tag Team titles! Balor's attempt to hit the Styles Clash ended with AJ reversing it and showing him how it's done! - Usos meet in the locker room. Jey is mad at himself for making the same mistakes he made in Paris, but Jimmy wants to hear none of it. Jimmy says Roman isn't going to be here tonight, and that Jey hasn't believed in himself lately. Jimmy says maybe Jey should change his mindset starting with tonight's battle royal, but also reminds Jey that he'll be in the battle royal as well and plans on coming for everyone, including Jey. Jey understands that and the two shake hands. - Dominik Mysterio defeated Rusev to retain the Intercontinental title! As Rusev was busy taking care of Penta outside the ring, Dom prepped the bell hammer in his boot. Rusev blocked the 619 attempt and pulled the hammer out of Dom's boot. As the ref confiscated the hammer, Dom connects with a low blow followed by a 619/Frog Splash combo to retain! After Dom leaves, Penta runs in and takes out Rusev. - Women's IC title match: Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch by DQ after a frustrated Becky lays out Maxxine with the title. Asuka is also proud of Kairi for finally showing her ruthless side, and they decide that they deserve gold in their future - Adam Pearce tells Paul Heyman that Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are out of the Battle Royal. Heyman wants Adam to put them back in. Adam tells Heyman to say please; Heyman pleads, only for Adam to reject it anyway. Heyman turns around and sees Becky Lynch. Heyman explains that he was put in a no win situation last week, that he attempted to stop Rollins from getting his shoulder injured even further. But he offers Becky his services because she could have a hot husband at home and an adorable oracle on the road! Becky immediately tells Heyman his snake oil salesman pitch won't work on him. She's never liked him and neither has Seth; in fact, they're both surprised it took Heyman this long to betray him. But she promises Seth will return someday and take down the Brons; Seth won't kill Heyman, but Heyman will wish he did when it's all over - Stephanie Vaquer defeated Roxanne Perez. Raquel Rodriguez gets a cheap shot in and the 2-on-1 assault is on until Nikki Bella makes the save - Pearce is talking with Lyra Valkyria when Bayley pops in. Bayley says she has to wait until next week, much to Lyra's dismay - The Brons discuss stealing Pearce's shoes when Heyman walks in. Bron Breakker says it's unfair that they can't compete for their world champion and needs Heyman's help. Heyman reminds them that Lesnar, Punk, and Reigns all had successful runs as WWE Champion because they listened to him; he says they need to do the same and look in the mirror so they can see the future, before walking away. - Stephanie Vaquer thanks Nikki Bella for helping her out. Nikki congratulates her on having a successful year, but also says there's a target on her back and that anyone can take her out. In fact, Nikki wishes she had a friend during her title run like she's been with Stephanie lately. Stephanie says she owes Nikki one, and the two hug it out. Gee, let's make the inevitable turn blatantly obvious - Jey Uso wins the battle royal, eliminating Dominik Mysterio in the final moment. An irate Jimmy Uso stares him down, as Jey eliminated him and Knight at the same time, despite Jimmy saving Jey twice in the match. Cody says Jey did what's best for himself and Jimmy might need to do the same. - Cody heads to the ring and asks what does Tempe wanna talk about. Drew McIntyre, possibly? Cody went out of character last week and hit Drew with the title? He wonders if he needs to apologize, which the crowd says no to. Drew is out now and starts accusing the crowd of being part of Corporate Cody's propaganda. This is now about Drew finishing the story after how many times he's been screwed. Security pulls Drew and Jimmy apart as the MFTs make their way to the ring for tag team action! - Drew is complaining more to Nick Aldis before getting jumped by Jimmy Uso again! - Tama Tonga and JC Mateo defeated Rey Fenix and Shinsuke Nakamura. Afterwards, Priest proceeds to beatdown Black, but Zelina attacks Priest's damaged eye long enough for Black to escape! - Carmelo Hayes is interviewed backstage. He's not here to berate The Miz; he's grateful for what Miz taught him, but he had to get even for recent actions. With that, Melo's even with Miz, and he's moving on. Raw recap in Anaheim - Main Event Jey Uso is now in yo city! Jey has Roman, Jimmy, and everybody in his ear, but right now, he doesn't give a damn what they think. It's just him, and he's focusing on becoming a 2-time world champion! 4 letters, one wor- CM Punk's music cuts him off! He trolls a running it back, before giving Jey the real 4-letters-1-word: Punk! Punk gives Jey props for finally listening to himself and nobody else. Punk has spent his career listening to himself and feels better for it. It's easy to listen to yourself when you're winning, but what if you're about to lose? Punk respects and loves Jey, therefore it's going to be more challenging to lace up with him this Saturday. Punk wonders though, how far is Jey willing to go in order to win. Punk needs to be World Champion again just as much as he needs air in his lungs. He's not asking Big Jim's brother or Little Roman: he's asking Main Event Jey Uso how far he'll go! Jey responds that Punk will show up to convince these fans he still has it but will still come up short and Saturday night will be Jey's. One yeet later and this segment ends with a staredown. - Dom is complaining to Judgment Day, claiming Pearce has a vendetta against him with this upcoming #1 contender match. Raquel suggests that Dom shouldn't be a habitual cheater, in which Dom replies that he's never cheated a day in his life. Dom pulls out his phone and makes a call asking for assistance. Heyman says instead of focusing on 20 people last week, why not focus on one? This leads Bayley to wonder if they can win, but Lyra motivates her to not think as negatively and hypes her up - Jimmy sees Jey and immediately gets mad at his comments about it being just him. Jey tries to say he's was focusing on tossing Knight last week, but Jimmy isn't convinced. Jimmy wanted them to be the final two, and THEN it would be every man for himself. However, Jimmy also thinks Jey did what he did because he knows Jimmy would've tossed him out if they made the final two - Bron Breakker defeated LA Knight - Adam Pearce finally finds Dominik Mysterio, who takes no credit for what Los Americanos did to Penta and Rusev. Despite that, Pearce makes his decision: Dom has to defend against both this Saturday! - Jey and Jimmy meet again; Jey says he knows Jimmy would've done the same thing if the roles were reversed, but he also needs his brother's support because he feels like he has no one else left. Most anticlimactic teaser video series ever Over the past week, WWE was airing very short teaser segments of an anonymous person walking into a room, where all you could see was their feet. Nicely dressed, clean shoes, etc, the works. This occurred on Raw, NXT, SD, as well as the NXT major event this past Saturday. Many thought it was teasing a Gunther return This past Monday, different types of foot attire appeared from anonymous walkers, with the last one being boots and jeans, which many clearly pointed to Brock Lesnar. Another short clip showed two glasses getting filled. Finally, the last clip showed a poker chip landing on a table, with "2026" on the chip. Turns out it was an advertisement for Wrestlemania 42 featuring HHH, Heyman, Cody, Roman, Punk, and Brock --- Formerly known as Raven 2 ... Copied to Clipboard!
