Second theres unskippable dialog and animations that just serve to burn precious seconds. Third the boss can just interrupt your turn and get like three turns in a row and you just have to sit there and watch the timer tick down until you can move again. I understand the desire to change the format from Dynamax Raids, but Dynamax Raids were just straight up better. They also ran better and werent prone to weird visual and gameplay bugs. Actually I remember way back in the day when Violet came out that Tera Raids were even worse because they could break in spectacular fashion, were you just no longer get a turn at all and just had to sit there and watch the raid fail because halfway through the game just decided no. Youve had enough turns, now watch.
