I finally got around to Darksiders 2 like a month ago, that game has its issues but you can really tell they poured their heart and soul into it. Classic mode helped, but all it changed was letting you cancel out of attack animations. It's unreal how 3 being a Souls-like just absolutely destroyed my friends interest in the game and has even resulted in them not even being excited for 4. Meanwhile all 3 of us would geek out together about Darksiders 1 and 2 when they each came out.
