There's plenty of reasons to buy Silksong regardless that it doesn't use AI. Im a big fan of metroidvania styled games, but I am also a gamer that really chooses his games primarily based off their art and aesthetic. I dont care how good your gameplay or story are, if I cant find your art appealing, I just cant stomach the game. I also realize Im in the extreme minority for this mindset, as I simply cant get past an aesthetic I find displeasing, and I know many can, and most dont even think of the aesthetic or art as a primary selling point for a game (at least not over the gameplay and the story or characters). I really dislike the HK art style, and the fact that the characters are bugs, so that alone keeps me from playing those games. P.S. I do know these games are extremely well made, though, from what Ive heard from many sources, and I know the team that made them put a lot of time and effort into making them what they are. So I do hope they are successful, especially for the people that get enjoyment out of them. --- Before me things create were none, save things eternal, and eternal I endure.
