https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25247307-kendrick-lamar-wins-emmy-award-nfl-super-bowl-59-halftime-show Hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar and Tony Russell won the Emmy for "Outstanding music direction" on Sunday for The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar that aired on Fox. Lamar's show featured Samuel L. Jackson, SZA and Serena Williams and came following the rapper's well-documented feud with Drake. There was much speculation as to whether Lamar would include his hit single, "Not Like Us" in the performance, given its pointed criticisms of Drake, but Kendrick not only teased the song throughout his halftime show but also included it. Well deserved. I was hoping hed win an emmy for it.
