I don't even know, I never check what type of fabric my clothes are made of.

I mostly just wear cotton plain t-shirts but my true preference is a linen shirt. So much cooler in hot weather due to breathing and moisture wicking. Those prairie dwellers back in the old days knew what was up.

Also I switched to wool socks like 15 years ago and kick myself for not doing it so much sooner. Superior to standard cotton socks in every way. Again, moisture wicking and breathing. So much better.

My most comfortable shirts are apparently 50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% viscose.

I'm pretty sold on cotton blends. But if it's 99% one or the other, I guess I'd have to choose cotton.

Cotton shirts suck. They're hot in the summer, wrinkle, and shrink. Polyester can feel like wearing nothing at all.

Why not a cotton polyester blend? I think or it seems like all shirts/clothes are a cotton polyester blend. I think the cotton is for the comfort, and the polyester is so that it doesn't shrink in the wash? I haven't seen a 100% cotton shirt that I can recall, however I think that would shrink in the wash wouldn't it.

Polyester makes me sweaty and itchy. Plus it holds the smell of my body odor. I also hate the way it feels on my skin. Makes me crazy.

Polyester shirts are so uncomfortable. They are awful in the heat and the fabric irritates my skin.

I don't know what kind of polyester shirts you guys wear. Golf and other sports shirts are polyester because they keep you cooler and less sweaty.

Cotton is always going to be cooler than polyester. However, polyester doesnt absorb water, so it wont become drenched when you sweat a lot.
