Anyway I've mostly enjoyed it, I'm gonna have to take a break now for 2 weeks though just as I started act 3

Some flaws (Maelle's nightmares started to get tedious, sometimes it gets a bit too "Oh look how beautiful this all is") but I love the battle system and the feel of getting a good counter/parry. I also like that it's relatively straightforward and I didn't feel saddled by sidequests, collectibles, etc. I felt a sense of exploration/discovery in the world map that I haven't had in a while

Hopefully it sticks the landing (and I resist spoilers etc)

Common advice upon starting Act 3 is to mainline to the end and do the side content after, though I'd personally say you could do the party narrative quests first.
