Once upon a time, I would have said England. But the UK is a dumpster fire right now.

Beyond that, none of the above.

I really don't know anything substantial about any of these places. I don't even think I've heard of anything below Bermuda other than Cayman Islands is where rich people go to avoid taxes or whatever.

Wtf is a Gibralter? And I thought Arugula was a herb or something.

Standing in Dublin airport right now. Just toured England, Wales, and Scotland.
So far, Wales. Drivers were nicer. England and Scotland they drive like maniacs and honk at you and try to kill you.

All 3 had wonderful people though. Hope Ireland is more of the same.

Visiting on vacation is usually a far cry from living there.

Especially if you're visiting on vacation and staying in resorts or similar tourist-centric areas, while living there would require you to "go native", which can be an entirely different experience.

Fair but Bermuda isn't a big island, I've seen it all. The concerns would be expenses and imports but like.... those are problems in America right now

Gibraltar, along with Punta Almina in Morocco, guards the Strait of Gibraltar, the entrance to the Mediterranean from the Atlantic. British control of Gibraltar was key to the Allies winning WWII, since it was able to keep the German navy from supporting operations in North Africa, and kept the Italian navy bottled up in the Mediterranean. It also provided a secure harbor for Force H, provided supplies for the besieged island of Malta, and was the jumping off point for Operation Torch, the Allied invasion of French North Africa.

It's so funny to me seeing tiny pieces of land claimed by nations far outside their main territory. I get it, it makes total sense from a tactical perspective, but it's also kind of depressing to think about.

Those are all terrible choices.

But I guess if I absolutely HAD to pick.....

Bermuda, because, for the sake of this fictional scenario, Im assuming that if I get to live there, it's because I'm rich.

Been to Ireland, Dublin and Limerick so far.
People are nice, but buildings look rough, and the air stinks. I think because they all drive diesel here. It's bad, like an entire city coal rolling each other.
