as in, the trailers for each clan you can choose to have the lead be a part of.

since there are only six clans to choose from, I assume the next trailer will come out in the next week.

the personality that shares the lead's body is a Malkavian, and you also experience his story, so I guess there's technically seven clans.

idk why they didn't include some, but the lead will have a mark on the back of their hand (put there against their will, while they slept), which nullifies their clan's curse, iirc, so it might be boring to play as a Nosferatu, for example, since you'd look like a regular guy.

There is a lot Im not liking about the Chinese Rooms presentation of Bloodlines 2, and Im still on the fence whether I want to support it, I have to wait and see once it drops, but I will admit I enjoy the clan trailers, as well. That is one area Paradox, and the CR have marketed the product well.

White Wolf was always extremely explicit that you cannot do this because vampirism is a curse from God and however many dice you think you have to lift the curse, God has more.

They even went as far as publishing the official mage spheres you'd need to restore humanity to a vampire and in the same box they were like "but this is just theoretical, you can't actually do this"

i WAS hyped for this.. till it became known they turned this sequel to an rpg that's also based on a TTRPG into a game with.. no character sheet no stats no melee weapons awkward gun combat and pissing all over established lore via allowing the protag to gain powers from other clans despite doing so generally being frowned upon in lore

Gaining power from other clans is fine you just need a willing tutor except for Potence, Celerity, and Fortitude which are available to every clan even if they're not your clan disciplines.

k.. but it doesn't excuse what they did to the rest of the game.. what the HELL were they thinking handing the game to devs who've never touched an rpg or action rpg

i..really hope it's not gonna be as bad as i keep hearing
