But besides that, it makes me think of that one SpongeBob Movie scene with Patrick in the fishnets and heels. Like Life Orb Draco Meteor Latios easily OHKOs it even with a +speed nature and max special bulk on Zygarde. And 100 speed isn't really fast enough for Ubers that it's going to want to switch into a super effective hit because then it'll just get outsped and KOed next turn. It'd have to tank it from something it outspeeds, and the slower things tend to hit harder. It'd have to run Substitute (only consistent way of getting down to 50% HP), Dragon Dance or Scale Shot (because if anything hits it it probably dies anyway, so it doesn't matter which speed boosting move it uses), Nihil Light, and probably Earth Power to hit Steels. Like Life Orb Draco Meteor Latios easily OHKOs it even with a +speed nature and max special bulk on Zygarde. And 100 speed isn't really fast enough for Ubers that it's going to want to switch into a super effective hit because then it'll just get outsped and KOed next turn. It'd have to tank it from something it outspeeds, and the slower things tend to hit harder. It'd have to run Substitute (only consistent way of getting down to 50% HP), Dragon Dance or Scale Shot (because if anything hits it it probably dies anyway, so it doesn't matter which speed boosting move it uses), Nihil Light, and probably Earth Power to hit Steels. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, but it has too many flaws to be on the level of Mega Rayquaza and Zacian-C.</quote> ... Copied to Clipboard!

Getting it down to 50% HP and surviving another turn will be really awkward as well, considering a lot of things will be able to set up or OHKO it since it doesn't start with the 212 HP. It'll also be practically dead weight pre-Mega, as it'll be attacking with fairly weak special moves and hard walled by a few things. Hoopa-U was barely even OU this gen and that thing has 160/170 mixed attack stats, way more variety as well as the ability to hold an item to bring its effective attack far above Mega Zygarde. It does obviously have a much worse typing and narrowly worse speed, but big numbers aren't everything. Complete Zygarde is pretty scary without mega in fairness, but a lot of that comes from having a ground move which can hit flying types, and it's inconsistent because it needs to get down to half before it's any good. ~~If it does get sent to AG (which is still very possible), it will most likely be because that 0 immunity dragon move is braindead and forces very specific checks.~~ --- Perhaps the golden rock was inside us all along. <cite>Sheep007 posted [p:986758828] in Pokemon Ge...
