Yes what he says is correct. But this also means we know they will not give up their power because doing so means they will be charged for the crimes they are doing.
Nearly all the top Trump brass are complicit. Bondi. Miller. Homan, Kash.

They are all breaking laws and a new admin that isn't insane would charge them. So they will all be absolutely on board with Trump rigging the election or suspending it.

This is reality we need to accept is going to happen.

Yep, that's been the plan the entire time. Seize power and never let it go. They wouldn't be doing the things they are if they thought there was any chance of losing that power in the foreseeable future.

Yeah, Trump isn't going to cancel elections entirely. We're going to have "elections" like other totalitarian regimes where you aren't allowed to vote for the other guy, and 99% of the population just so happens to vote for the dictator because they're making the numbers up anyways.

Of course a Trump loss in 2016 is a much better time line.

But even that time line would still have the GOP as a serious and ongoing threat to US democracy. It's going to take something really significant to actually abate the GOP menace.
