If you choose Wolverine for example you get the adamantium skeleton too.

If Cyclops it also comes with the shades.

Xavier includes the floating wheelchair, not being able to walk and cerebro.

Beast includes fleas.

Gambit you get a deck of cards sure thing, deal.

Rogue you get psychological trauma.

Storm mohawk is optional.

Kitty includes the little dragon friend.

Hope gets that giant gun she often has.

Cable also gets that giant gun he often has, but the metal virus too.

Magik you get the soulsword as well.

Emma comes with the plastic surgery even if you are a guy.

Jean sure you get the phoenix force I guess but you also get to die all the time.

Magneto you are old and recognized internationally as a terrorist.

A couple of thoughts just popped into my head.

Is Cyclops able to see when hes blasting lasers without his special glasses? Or is he essentially blind firing and hoping he's pointed in the right direction.

Similar thing with Wolvie. How heavy is the adamantiumon his bones? I know hes super strong and all, but how would that effect an average person?

Gambit, Storm or Kitty for me.

All 3 are pretty bullshit in terms of power. Its hard to look passed control of the elements. Way too many uses.

Being able to kinetic charge any object, or pass through any object AND have a dragon pet? Its a really tough choice!

So, physiologically speaking, does Wolverines skeleton cause him any actual problems? I get using the claws hurt, and I wouldnt be able to go through airport security ever again, but having a 200+ year lifespan and be indestructible sounds good to me even recognizing that Ill be mourning the passing of loved ones. Almost assuredly would never use the claws, too.

Iceman. His powers are the coolest (haha!) and I could literally fix climate change with the click of my fingers.

"But Astray if you restored the ice caps to their glory and set the worlds climate back to the early 1900s the worlds fossil fuel industries would just keep polluting with more vigor, it wouldn't work."

They're going to run out at current rates by around 2100. That's why all the 'accepted' climate models just so happen to conclude the seriously bad stuff only happens around that date (I'd bet my entire home entertainment system on it). Revert the worlds climate back by over a century, restore the worlds ice caps to full strength plus enough extra to withstand the heating from when I die of old age, and badaboom badabing the world's saved.

Alternative I'd pick Magneto, again super awesome abilities and yes, it's a god complex flex as well. I get the ability to fix climate change (the Albedo effect is dimming, but with his powers creating a super-reflective metal shield at both ice caps to simultaneously roid up the Albedo effect and allow the ice caps time to restore themselves would be easy) and end all wars. All while being able to fly!

You could do the same thing with Jean or Xavier's powers without all that explanation <_<

I think I'll take Storm's powers, but only if you get all the cool one-liners she be spitting in the '97 cartoon.

I will say that one underrated power, at least from a practical real life standpoint, is Multiple Man's. He can make duplicates of himself with kinetic energy (usually he stomps his foot). He can reabsorb a duplicate by touching it, gaining all the skills, memories, and knowledge that duplicate had. So he actually has a ton of skills like lockpicking, SHIELD training, martial arts, gymnastics, languages, etc because he'll make a dupe, send it off to learn something, and then reabsorb it.

The only downside is that you end up confused about whether you did something or if the dupe did. There's a storyline where he and his dupe both have drunken sex with two women on the same night, but one of those women end up pregnant and he can't remember if it was him or the dupe that actually fathered the kid. This leads to a really fucked up moment because it was the dupe; the first time he holds his son, he reabsorbs him.

Nah those two's powers are far too much to handle for a normal person. It might take weeks, it might take years, but there's only one destination for all but a fraction of a fraction of humanity if they have the powers of telekinesis and mind control that those two have and it's a super villain who runs the world from the shadows.

Too much of a god complex trap for my tastes. I'd either fix the world and go live in a secluded wilderness or I'd end up always controlling more and more because there will always be things in the world that need fixing.

I'll just take my ice control and creation powers thanks lol.

If you're looking to fix the planet you can't exactly go wrong with Franklin Richards powers.

Scarlet Witch could also do it, but you probably don't want her tenuous grip on sanity.

Actually it does poison him. Not at first (in the 70s), but when in Logan (older), it accumulates in his soft tissue and his healing factor isn't as good as it was before and makes him more vulnerable to physical threats and takes longer to heal. When he first got it (and for decades), the healing factor was constantly canceling out the poisoning and was able to overtake it, on top of healing from physical injury.

A normal human or mutant with no healing factor would die within days.
