Little man syndrome is like always tryna do too much to compensate how short or little you are. Gets mad and confrontational easily because you're short.

I have met a man who I believe would qualify for such a diagnosis, but he was no more extra than other men of customary size that I know.

I've met multiple people who fit the bill, but it's not like we can A/B test giving them a life at 6'2" and see if they are still insufferable.

Maybe we can pump a few dozen newborn twins with growth hormone for science.

I mean, yeah, it happens, but whether it's a real trend or just confirmation bias, I don't know.

Idunno about it specifically in regards to being short, but I do notice Small Dog Syndrome, in which both actual small dogs, and insecure people, will compensate with... not necessarily aggression? Unwarranted assertion.

i'm sure it's real to some extent but idk if i've ever seen it.

i have seen people i suspect of having little "something else" syndrome.

I guess. But people try to over compensate for other things too.

Does getting that dangerous height extension surgery count? Saw an Indian guy who got it and it made sense why. They why a high achiever in everything they did it life but they were still mocked for their short height.

It is real, I have seen it myself.

Back when I used to work security, all the guards were tall (they averaged 6'3" in ye olde imperial). None of us carried a gun, we didn't need to. The job got hairy a few times, yeah, but we never came out of a situation saying "Wish I had a gun." The boss for one company did carry a gun, he was about 5'10". He would rock up on the job with his gun, flak vest, and flashing lights (which was very illegal) on his car (same make and model that the police used for unmarked patrols). When the other guards would hang out, we'd slouch around, but Short Boss walked like he had a stick up his ass.

Some people just suck. I don't think there's any serious correlation between height and hyper-aggressive behavior, as jackasses come in all shapes and sizes.

Yes, I've arguably got it.

I'm not that short (5'10") I think fundamentally it's about feeling emasculated and having anger you can't outlet due to toxic masculinity.

That probably does correlate with being short fairly often though.

I mean, it definitely exists. It may not be a scientifically backed term, but insecurity manifests from everything, and many people overcompensate due to it.

Yea also this. There's short guys who are always angry, and there's short guys (including me) who are the most chilled people out there. People are different, there isn't one blanket stereotype that fits all. It's honestly more annoying people just stereotype and judge short men so openly because society just allows it and looks at short people as lower status

It's not. I'm taller than that and thinking someone that height is short wouldn't even cross my mind.

5'5 ish is where I can start to see it.

Short bosses and people in some type of leadership role have always been assholes in my experience. Can't think of one who wasn't.

Small dog/man syndrome are one and the same! I know because I have a small dog and my housemate is also short!

They both have anger and entitlement issues!
