When you turned 10, social media was in full swing.
Basically I couldn't use most social media that my generation grew up with due to the internet infrastructure where I lived, like it genuinely wasn't feasible to use anything that was very picture based. So I used text based stuff like old fashioned forums which is why I was and still am on GameFAQs. I never broke into stuff like Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok etc etc, I still don't use most them or really enjoy them when i try them.

I'm not claiming to be fully Millennial or anything and there are certainly ways that I'm squarely a Z. But nonetheless most of my "digital peers" in my online spaces are Millennials or older

THIS site was probably the first type of social media interactions I ever had, and the TabIt forums lmao

That and interacting with people on the few games i could play on dialup with a bad pc, age of empires 2, DELTA FORCE TASK FORCE DAGGER

Any of the games from the $5 and $10 PC Game rack at walmart, the ones who know know

I'm either the very end of millennial, or the start of Gen Z. I'm usually thrown into millennial, but the dates shift around a bunch so sometimes I bounce around. I've also just seen Z-lliennial as well.

I think I typically land in the end of millennial though.

and then after that fighting with your parent whenever they are on the phone and you losing connection to the net after you waited hours for a video to download which looking at it now days a 30mb file is nothing to games being full 100gb+.....i don't miss dial one bit other the the classic tone for giggles sakes

Early 90's baby. I remember when Y2K was a big fear and got to experience the best of early 90's and early 2000's kids entertainment.

Favorite films include The Pagemaster and Small Soldiers.

My first experience with the internet was dial-up AOL Kids. My first experience with social media was a crappy AOL chatroom and later an AOL ran message board.

I learned of GameFAQs through stolen guides hosted on "bestcheats.com" and eventually started coming directly before making my first account in 2006.

My first computer was a Bondi Blue iMac G3, mostly "played" Worldbook on it and played with a crazy bootleg Photoshop that we had. I eventually got The Sims before upgrading to an eMac G4.

I cut my teeth programming with Blitz Basic running on a cheap Windows XP machine my parents had. This became Blitz Max and eventually Flash Pro 8. I posted a few shitty Flash games to Newgrounds as a teenager.

If I'm not a Millennial I'm not sure what a Millennial is.
