Ive been hearing about it and im gonna guess its just social media being social media. In good faith, maybe the early cold temperatures caused the bears to change behavior? When i lived in Alaska, bears would also do this when they stopped fearing humans and just did whatever. Maybe they simply got brave enough to try. --- ORAS secret base: http://imgur.com/V9nAVrd 3DS friend code: 0173-1465-1236 ... Copied to Clipboard!

As comical as it sounds, the bear problem is just part of a string of issues that's been boiling over in Japan for awhile now. Basically due to Japan's low birth rates, a lot of rural areas are either abandoned or filled with the elderly who are too old and can barely take care of themselves. Because of this, the wildlife has grown out of control and taken over a lot of those rural areas to the point where the problems are stretching into the cities. So imagine seeing old towns or neighborhoods with basically nobody living in them. The bear problem has gotten so bad they had to get the JDF involved. There's also been a string of certain type of deadly rabies(I can't remember the name of) popping up around Japan and also ticks carrying another disease I can't remember the name with a fairly high mortality rate. Both of which were linked to the wildlife population getting out of control. While in Japan just don't go around touching stray cats, no matter how cute they are and if you do have pets. Make sure they don't wonder off into any grassy fields or interact with other stray cats and animals as that's how both these things have been spreading. From pet owners to humans. ... _____Cait posted... Ive been hearing about it and im gonna guess its just social media being social media. It's definitely not just social media. We had record bear attacks this year and 13 deaths. That's worse than any other country. The stuff about low birth rate causing this is nonsense though. I watch NHK every night and experts say it's due to the unusually hot weather (due to global warming) lowering their food supply and forcing them to wander into areas where people live to search for food. --- Favorite Games: BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Bayonetta, Bloodborne thats a username you habe - chuckyhacksss ... Japan cause this own issue with their bureaucracy. Japan already has hunters who used to solve the problem. but the government fucked around with them and now they are in the finding out stage. The Japanese legal system decided to sue a hunter because they said it was unsafe for him to shoot at a bear that was close to some houses/buildings. The government sent him and his partner to that location to shoot the bear. The government sent a rep to accompany them who told the hunters it was okay to shoot there, The hunters refused to shoot because it was not safe, The rep insisted, they took a shot, missed, hit a rock, and the bullet ricocheted around and hit one of the hunters guns. The city sued and said the ricochet was proof that he could have hit a building. The hunter lost his license to own guns. The hunting association then refused to do any more work for the government and told them to handle the bears on their own. (since 2018) The government responded by doing absolutely nothing for 7 years, Which leads us to the current national headlines. ... Copied to Clipboard!
