Characters get slower the more weapons you weigh them down with, and for whatever reason, books are heavy
...I thought they only are weighed down by whatever they have equipped at the moment. Not the sum total of everything on hand. If that were the case my team would be at negative attack speed pretty much all the time, because I constantly have them stacked with weapons whenever possible. >_>
yeah, this is what I thought...
I'm pretty sure it is only the weapon you have equipped.
